Cong holds key to power in Lucknow: Sachin Pilot

Varanasi, Apr 26 (UNI) Young Congress MP from Rajasthan Sachin Pilot today said ''the key to power in Lucknow is held by Congress and the next goverment in UP cannot be formed without the grand old party.'' Interacting with newspersons after addressing an election meeting here this evening, the MP from Dausa (Rajasthan) said ''if the present Congress wave spearheaded by Rahul Gandhi continues to sway the state, then for sure the party will form the next government in UP.'' Over the remarks by Samajwadi Party leader and UP minister Mohd Azam Khan against Rahul Gandhi earlier in the day at Ghazipur, Mr Pilot said ''Congress does not use the kind of words uttered by the SP and BJP, who are worried over increasing popularity of Mr Gandhi.'' The young leader, however, steered clear of any remarks against BSP president Mayawati in a clear cut indication of prospects of a post poll handshake between the two parties.
