Cauvery Kalpathuru Grameena bank registers 20.80 per cent growth
Mysore, Apr 26 (UNI) Cauvery Kalpatharu Grameena Bank has registered a 20.80 percent growth and earned net profit of Rs 20.10 Crores during the year 2006-2007.
Bank Chairman Shivaswamy, in a release here today, said that Bank's turnover has crossed Rs 1777 crores during the year ending March 31-2007. Deposits have increased to Rs 99.60 crores against Rs 793 crores last year. Advances has touched Rs 783.50 crores from Rs 605.59 crores in 2005-06.
The Bank has plans to increase the operational profit and net substantially during 2007-08, keeping this in view bank has set target of Rs 2185 Crores.
He said that the Bank would intensify its flow of financing the Horticulture project to facilitate the farmers to avail assistance under National Horticulture Board and also allow them to participate in National Horticulture Mission.
All the 203 branches of the Bank covering six districts of Mysore, Chamarajanagara, Hassan, Tumkur, Bangalore Rural and Urban would be computerised, he added.
