Book to bridge communication between East and West Punjab

Chandigarh, Apr 26 (UNI) A book ''Lessons for Shahmukhi and Gurmukhi Script'' by known journalist Baljit Singh Brar was released here today with an objective to ''bridge the language barrier between East and West Punjab''.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Information and Public Relations Jagjit Puri who released the book, said it was a first work of its own kind, which would bridge the language barriers of both Punjab East and West by providing a seven-day course to learn both Shahmukhi and Gurmukhi script.

Mr. Brar has been working on the Pakistani Media for the last four years and has authored many books on journalism and mass communication.
