6th phase: Extra vigil in 10-12 constituencies
Varanasi, Apr 26 (UNI) Extra vigil will be observed in 10-12 seats of 57 seats which go to poll during the sixth and penultimate phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly election on May 3, Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalaswami said here today.
Addressing a news conference, Mr Gopalaswami said ''extra vigil will be observed in 10-12 seats for ensuring free and fair poll like the earlier phases.'' The CEC also said the district and police administration of neighbouring Bhadohi district have been directed to go in for special preparedness to deal with any eventuality in one assembly constituency of the district.
