On April 20 night, Jamir Khan had allegedly tried to outrage the modesty of the woman, while she was on her way home.

Following the incident, he was allegedly assaulted by four youths in Shivaji Park area here. He was found in an unconscious state next morning. Later, the police arrested three persons, including a dalit woman, for allegedly assaulting him. The trio confessed to the crime, police said.
