Shopkeeper beheaded in Kangra
Dharamshala, Apr 25 (UNI) An elderly shopkeeper in a village in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh was beheaded by another villager after the shopkeeper asked for his dues, district DSP Virender Thakur today said.
Baldev Singh, 32, killed Ram Singh, 60, near the Marary village school in a fit of rage after the shopkeeper asked him to cough up his dues for the items taken from his shop.
Mr Thakur said the accused, who escaped from the scene after the incident, was arrested by the police and local people who followed him to the forest.
A case has been registered against him under Section 302 of the IPC and investigations are on, he added.
