Security breach during Kalam's meeting with EU leaders

Strasbourg, France, Apr 25 (UNI) In a breach of security, a woman of the Indian community here went up to President A P J Abdul Kalam when he was in a meeting with EU Parliament members.

Dr Kalam today addressed the European Parliament. After the address, when he was in the protocol room, a woman who runs a restaurant here went into the room and got herself photographed with Dr Kalam.

Though she had the security clearance to enter the EU Parliament building, she was not authorised to go up to the room where the meeting was in progress.

Security personnel mistook her as one of the Indian delegation members and did not intercept her.
