rescue on to rescue boy trapped in borewell
Raichur, Karnataka, Apr 25 (UNI) Mining engineers from the Hutti Gold Mines have been pressed into action to rescue a seven year old boy who fell into an abandoned borewell at Neer Manvi village, about 35 km from here.
The boy, sandeep fell into the 60 feet deep borewell while playing along with his friends in an open area yesterday morning.
Raichur Superintendent of Police PAdmanarayana told UNI that a parallel hole was being dug to reach the boy. However the miners efforts were obstructed by a huge boulder, which was being removed, he added.
Though the boy was continuously supplied with oxygen there was no response from him, he added.
