Reddy assures appropriate action to APUWJ

Hyderabad, Apr 25 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Home Minister K Jana Reddy assured a delegation of Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) that he would take appropriate action in two instances of harassment of journalists in East Godavari district.

He gave this assurance to a delegation of APUWJ consisting of APUWJ President K Amarnath, Secretary General K Sreenivasa Reddy, General Secretary D Amar and others who met the Home Minister today.

The Home Minister spoke to the Superintendent of Police, East Godavari district and instructed him to ensure justice to the journalists.
