Police busts cricket betting racket

New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) Police have busted a cricket betting racket with the arrest of two people from East Delhi while accepting bids during the World Cup semi final match.

Sandeep Gupta (32) and Pankaj Chopra (23) were arrested from a house in Madhu Vihar yesterday during the Sri Lanka and New Zealand World Cup semi final.

Police recovered four mobile phones and a television set.

Further investigations are in progress.
