Mulayam failed on every front: Rajnath

Hardoi, Apr 25 (UNI) Elaying the Mulayam Singh Yadav government in Uttar Pradesh, BJP president Rajnath today observed ''a king, who is incapable of protecting his subjects has no right to rule''.

''The ruling SP regime has failed on every front. Instead of developing UP, the Chief minister is encouraging crime,'' the BJP president said addressing a poll meeting here.

Expressing concern over ''misgovernance'' in UP, Mr Singh alleged instead of providing quality roads, power and safe drinking water to masses, the Chief Minister has made the state a 'rest house' for history-sheeters.

''UP is far from being Uttam Pradesh,'' the BJP leader underlined.

''Both Mulayam Singh Yadav and BSP chief Mayawati are claiming to jail one another if voted to power. Both have CBI probes against them. Only an honest leader like Kalyan Singh can perform the task of jailing them,'' he noted.

Lambasting the Congress-led UPA government at the centre for sky rocketing prices of diesel and petrol, he clamed ''the Centre is constantly cheating the masses by encouraging black marketing''.
