MP: Engineer's corpse found near railway track

Bhopal, Apr 25: The corpse of engineer V Gopal Rao, who worked in Ratlam-based private contract company, was found near Bhopal railway station, Government Railway Police said.

Mr Rao, who hailed from Vijaywada, was stabbed to death. He was identified on the basis of mobile phone and other documents found in his possession. He had boarded a hotel near the station along with a girl on Monday evening.

Both went out of the hotel at around 2300 hrs but did not return.

His corpse was found yesterday near the railway tracks. The girl is missing.
