Minor dies after gangrape

Bhind, MP, Apr 25 (UNI) A 14-year-old has died after she was gangraped by five youths at Kathwa Haji village in this district, police said today.

Bhind Superintendent of Police Niranjan B Vayangankar said Mangilal's daughter was abducted by Jurwan Singh Gurjar and Angad Gurjar while she had gone to fetch water from a hand pump at Kathwa Haji village on April 14.

She was taken to a farm outside the village where Vasudev Gurjar, Ramkaran Jatav and Suman Jatav were already present. The girl was gangraped and abandoned in injured condition.

The victim reached her home in the evening and informed her mother about the incident. She died after sometime.

On receiving information, the accused arrived at the victim's house, held her parents captive and performed the last rites of the body.

On the basis of information provided by the girl's parents, a case was registered against five accused.
