Law and order situation has improved in Bihar: Governor
Kolhapur, Apr 25 (UNI) Bihar Governor R S Gavai said today that there has been about 75 per cent improvement in the law and order situation in the state and it is making speedy development.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Gavai said there was ''mutual understanding'' between him and the state government for healthy development of the state and he has initiated changes in the interest of the state, which would be visible in the near future.
On the changes, the Governor said he has taken various measures in diverse sectors, particularly in education.
Today, Bihar is the first state in the country providing 50 per cent reservation to women in the country, Mr Gavai pointed out and said the people should see the positive aspeits of the state.
