Patna, Apr 25 (UNI) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) General Secretary Tariq Anwar today said industrialisation could be ushered in Bihar only if law and order improved.

Talking to newspersons, Mr Anwar said the Nitish government should concentrate on developing infrastructures and improving law and order situation to build a congenial atmosphere for inflow of investments in the state.

He said the industrialists' visit to Bihar to explore the possibilities of investment in the state was another attempt of Nitish government to mislead the people on development front.

He charged the Chief Minister with trying to create illusion on investment and industrialistion in the state by organising such meetings of industrial tycoons and experts of different fields from various parts of the country and abroad.

He said no capitalist would like to invest in Bihar where criminal activities were high and kidnappings had become the order of the day. " Mr Kumar should have learnt the lession from the failure of 'Global Meet' in Bihar and focussed on creating favourable environment for investments before asking the top industrialists to set up their ventures in the state," he noted.

'' Despite tall claims of NDA government on providing employment to lakhs of people in the state, exodus of labourers from Bihar to other states were still on,'' Mr Anwar rued.
