GCPL Q4 net up 29pc, profit at Rs 38.89 cr

New Delhi, Apr 25: Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) todayposted a jump of 28.94 per cent in net profit at Rs 38.89 crore for thequarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 30.16 crore in the samequarter last year.

Total Income (net of excise) climbed 14.36 per cent to Rs 188.45 crore during Q4FY07 from Rs 164.78 crore during Q4FY06.

For the year ending March 2007, the company reported a net profitof Rs 132.16 crore as compared to Rs 121.2 crore in the last fiscal.

The annual total income also went up to Rs 763.82 crore from Rs 664.25 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006.
