Father-son duo held with 5 kg opium

Jalandhar, Apr 25 (UNI) Police has arrested a person and his son and recovered five kg of opium from their possession here today.

Police said, the accused identified as Kulwant Singh and his son Amarjeet Singh were nabbed when on prior information, police intercepted a car and on further checking recovered the cotrabad from the car.

Both the smugglers were booked under NDPS Act and further investigations were on, police said.
