DFO remanded in DA caase

Patna Apr 25 (UNI) The special vigilance judge of Patna S K Panwar today remanded the then Divisional Forest Officer(DFO) Kaimur Bhola Prasad to judicial custody in a fresh case of Disproportionate Assets(DA) till April 28.

During the day, accused Mr Prasad was produced by the jail authority before the designated judge on the basis of production warrant isssued by the court in the case. The accused was already lodged in jail in connection with a bribery case.

The accused was arrested by state vigilance investigation bureau while accepting a bribe of Rs 45,000 on February 24.

During raids conducted by Bureau properties, over Rs 90 lakh were found.

A separate case of DA was registered against Mr Prasad.
