By-election to Ullal Assembly constituency on June 2

Bangalore, Apr 25 (UNI) By-election to the Ullal Assembly constituency will be held on June 2.

Filing of nominations would open with the issuance of notification on May 8. Last date for filing nomination would be May 15, while scrutiny would be held on May 16.

The last date for withdrawal of nomination was May 18, an official release said today.

The election was necessitated following the death of Congress Legislator U T Farid.
