AP CM to expand cabinet tomorrow

Hyderabad, Apr 25 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy will expand his 23-member Ministry tomorrow by inducting 17 members.

Governor Rameshwar Thakur would administer the oath of office to the 17 new members at an impressive ceremony at 0745 hrs tomorrow in the lawns of the Raj Bhavan, official sources said here today.

Those shortlisted for inclusion in the cabinet were Pilli Subash Chandra Bose, Maganti Babu, Mandali Buddha Prasad, Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao, M Hanumantha Rao, Anam Ramanarayan Reddy, R Chenga Reddy, Galla Aruna, G Chinna Reddy, M Mukesh Goud, R Damodar Reddy, T Jeevan Reddy, J Ratnakar Rao, Vanama Venkateswara Rao, Sabhani Chandrasekhar, Damodar Raja Narasimha, the sources informed.

The Chief Minister, who was earlier scheduled to visit New Delhi to provide moral support to the Congresspersons who had planned to stage a protest against the Maharashtra Government for allegedly taking up the illegal Babli Project, cancelled his visit, they added.
