Airtel launches VAS Pack to promote Himachali culture

Shimla, Apr 25 (UNI) Airtel, India's leading mobile service provider, today took another step in promoting the rich cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh, by launching the Himachali VAS Pack for its prepaid and postpaid customers in HP.

Subscribers of Himachali VAS Pack will be able to access the Himachali Festival Calendar, which will give them information on the important festivals being celebrated in the various districts of Himachal Pradesh. They would be able to get traditional Himachali recipes including delicacies like Madra , Khas Khas Ka Halwa, Sidu, Kadhi, Green Tea etc.

Customers would also get information on places of interest in Himachal and a daily horoscope on voice, COO (Mobile Services), Bharti Airtel HP Circle Mr R V S Bhullar said here today.

Additionally, the Himachali VAS Pack would allow a customer unlimited downloads of Himachali Songs and Himachali ring tones.

There would be a wide range of Himachali songs available including all-time favourites like Neeru Chai, Haath Kata, Jhumke Jhumke etc.

To subscribe to the Airtel Himachali VAS Pack, customers would just need to call the toll free number 60399 and follow the simple voice instructions. The monthly subscription fee of the Pack is Rs 99 only.
