Air Marshal Apte to visit city base

Chandigarh, Apr 25 (UNI) Air Marshal J S Apte, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force would arrive at the 3 BRD (Base Repair Depot) Air Force tomorrow. This would be his first visit to any Station after taking over the charge of the Command at Nagpur.

During his three-day visit, the Air Marshal will review the progress of various projects and production tasks of the Depot. He is also scheduled to address all ranks. Air Cmde R K Srivastava, Air Officer Commanding, 3BRD will give him a presentation.

Mrs Uma Apte, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) Regional, who will accompany the Air Marshal, would be interacting with AFWWA members of the Station. She will be briefed on welfare activities and achievements of AFWWA (Local).

She will also visit various welfare ventures run by AFWWA.
