8 year old girl raped by 50 year old man

Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, April 25 (UNI) An eight year old Dalit girl was raped by a 50 year old man K Nagaraju of Munjuluru village in Krishna district yesterday evening.

Police sources today said Nagaraju took the girl to the fields and raped her.

Later, the vicitm told the issue to her parents. Bantumilli police registered the case and the girl was admitted in the Government Hospital.

The District Collector Navin Mittal who visited the girl today said a case would be registered under SC Attrocities Act against the accused. He also announced that an exgratia was also under consideration to the victim's family.
