30 killed, 15 injured in Poonch mini bus accident

Jammu, Apr 25 (UNI) At least 30 passengers were killed and 15 others injured, including seven critically, when a mini bus skidded off the road and plunged into a rivulet in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir today, official sources said.

The mini bus was on its way from Surankote to Poonch when it met with an accident at 1145 hrs, the sources said.

Troops of 27 Rashtriya Rifles immediately swung into action to carry out rescue operation.

The seriously injured people were being airlifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital here, police said.
