HDFC Bank Q4 net up 31 pc in net profits

New Delhi, Apr 24: HDFC Bank today clocked 31 per cent increase inits net profit at Rs 343.57 crore for the fourth quarter ended March31, 2007 as compared to Rs 263.21 crore during the corresponding periodlast year.

The bank's total income also rose 41.6 per cent to Rs 2384.19crore in the said period from Rs 1682.65 crore for the quarter endedMarch 31, 2006.

The bank's net profit for the fiscal 2006-07 was Rs 1150.96 crore as compared to Rs 881.56 crore a year ago.
