Haryana: Fire destroys 2,000 hutments in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, Apr 24: Over 2,000 hutments were destroyed in a fire near RD City here early this morning.

About half a dozen tenders brought the fire, which started at around 0130 hrs, under control by 0500 hrs, fire brigades said.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Short circuit in one of the shanties was believed to have caused the fire.
