Aptech JV gains 32pc China IT Training share

New Delhi, Apr 24: Aptech JV has captured 32.1 per cent market share retaining No 1 position for the fifth consecutive year in China, according to an IDC report.

Aptech Beida Jadebird IT company Ltd, an Aptech JV's share in the Chinese training market has jumped from 27.3 per cent in 2005 to 32.1 per cent in 2006. This is further expected to grow at the rate of 23.71 per cent in 2007 and 22.9 per cent until in 2011.

''The market share of the company is almost one-third of the total training market,'' said Aptech Ltd CEO and Managing Director Pramod Khera.

According to the report, Aptech achieved the ranking much ahead of other players including NIIT with 7.6 per cent market share, Xinhua Computer Education capturing 4.6 per cent of the market share and many others.

Mr Khera said, ''The key to Aptech's outstanding performance in China is standardisation of all systems, Quality of Training and Curriculum which has been appreciated by the students and the industry alike. Additionally, co-operation with colleges, technical schools and other social institutions has helped to improve the market share.''
