3 bus drivers crushed to death in UP

Basti, Apr 24: Three people, identified as drivers of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC), were crushed to death by another bus in the nearby Siddharth Nagar district last night.

The incident occurred near Etova Grant Village, when a bus in reverse gear crushed the sleeping drivers, who were on election duty, Deputy Inspector General Brihaspatimani Tripathi said.

The deceased were identified as Suresh Babu, Ram Babu and Rajeev Shukla.

A case has been registered against the accused driver and bodies have been sent for postmortems.
