AP: Minor girl raped and murdered, two arrested

Hyderabad, Apr 23: Two people, including a call centre employee, were arrested today in a case of alleged rape and murder of a fourteen-year old girl in the city.

Police said Laxmi Durga, a tenth standard student and daughter of a watchman of an apartment near Ramanthapur, was allegedly raped and thrown from the five-storeyed apartment.

On finding Laxmi missing, her family members started searching for her. They found her body in front of the apartment.

Police arrested Prasahanth Shah, a call centre employee and his friend Sharat residing in the same apartment in connection with the incident.
