Many child marriages prevented in MP

Bhopal, Apr 23: At least 44 child marriages were prevented in Madhya Pradesh under an annual campaign to check the crime, official sources said.

Twenty such weddings were prevented in Shajapur through advice by Woman and Child Development Department officials.

Corresponding figures were Shivpuri district eight, Bhopal six, Dewas four and Dhar three.
