AP: CELT trains doctors on effective communication

Hyderabad, Apr 23: The Centre for English Language Training (CELT) of Osmania University will offer one-month English language training for doctors, paramedical professionals and teachers during this summer at the campus.

Addressing the press here, CELT Director G Tirupathi Kumar said it was offering the language training to doctors and teachers to improve their communication skills as per the requirments of the corporate hospitals and international schools, respectively in the city.

The orientation programme for teachers was intended to equip them with a host of practical ideas that would make their teaching highly interactive and learner-centric.

The English language course for doctors has been designed to meet the specific language needs at their work place and job-related situation in the medical industry.

CELT is also offering an interactive course in communication skills and creative thinking for school children in this summer.
