UP: 2 hardcore Naxalites arrested

Lucknow, Apr 23: Two hardcore Naxalites, including a woman, have been arrested by the Special Operation Group (SOG) of Uttar Pradesh Police in Chandauli district.

The duo identified as Piyush Kushwaha and Usha carried a bounty of Rs 10,000 each.

They were nabbed in Sahabganj area yesterday, police today said.

Illegal weapons were also recovered from their possession.

Piyush is also an accused in the murder of a forest department personnel and bombing of a truck two years ago.
