Two teenage girls commit suicide

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 22 (UNI) Mystery shrouds the death of two teenage girls, SriDevi (19) and B Anuradha (18), who allegedly committed suicide here last night.

Police said Sri Devi's father A Sambasiva Rao wanted her daughter to get married and proposed a match for her the previous day.

But as she evinced no interest to the proposal, Mr Rao dropped it.

Meanwhile, Sridevi went to her relative's house in the evening with her close friend Anuradha. A few hours later both were found unconscious with foam coming from the mouth.

Though the both were rushed to the nearby government hospital, they died at the hospital.
