Shankar Mahadevan's concert disrupted
Bhopal, Apr 22 (UNI) A musical concert by noted singer and music composer Shankar Mahadevan was cut short due to objection from local residents regarding the parameters of sound system.
Residents complained that the sound of the speaker during the programme, which was organised at Dussehra ground in T T Nagar area here, was much more than permitted limit and was causing inconvenience to the people.
According to City Superintendent of Police Dharamveer Singh, organisers said it was not possible to carry out the programme at low volume. As such, the programme, which started at 1930 hrs, ended at 2130 hrs.
Those people raising objection could not enter the venue.
He denied that a Hindu outfit was involved in causing disruption.
