ONGC enters ATF business
New Delhi, Apr 22 (UNI) State-owned exploration and production major ONGC has entered into the aviation turbine fuel (ATF) business by refuelling a Pawan Hans helicopter that was on ONGC's duty.
The company is expected to save nearly Rs 20-25 crore in fuel costs annually by using its own fuel, sources said.
ONGC is the first petroleum major in India to produce ATF from condensate. ATF is largely produced from conventional crude oil stream.
