LBF Publications releases 143 books, creates new record

Indore, Apr 22 (UNI) With the launch of 143 books of different subjects for primary classes from a single platform here today, city-based Learn By Fun (LBF) Publications Pvt Ltd has claimed to have created a new record.

Junapeethadheeshwar Acharya Swami Avdheshanand Giri released the books at a function in the presence of Agrawal Group's Chairman Purushottam Agrawal and other eminent citizens.

Swami Avadheshanand Giri appreciated the LBF By Fun books series saying this would not only teach the children but also promote values.

Mr Agrawal said the introduction of a unique basic education system would also help develop practical knowledge and fluency in English and Hindi.

''These books are the result of five years' research and our team's practical experience,'' he said.

Claiming that it was not just a business for any publication group, he added that books introduced in the Group's Chameli Devi School and Agrawal Public School turned into a countrywide campaign due to motivation by Swami Giri.

''I am irritated by the emphasis on theoretical knowledge in the existing education system that does not develop the practical aspect. Moreover, it has been unable to make students excel in Hindi and English. Students also suffer from Mathematics phobia. However, the LBF's three-year-long experience in the two schools proved an eye-opener and introduction of LBF books brought dramatic results vis-a-vis students' performance,'' Mr Agrawal added.

In LBF books the stress was on simplicity. Besides main subjects English, Hindi and Maths, Toddler Training, General Knowledge, Environmental Science and Drawing were included. The books were prepared such that the content could easily be translated from Hindi to English and vice versa.

He told that the publication would also publish these books in other languages and from the next academic session middle school level books would also be published.
