Forged passports, CDs seized from Kataria's PA's house

Hyderabad, Apr 22 (UNI) The Delhi Crime Branch Police today recovered three forged passports, documents and CDs from the house of human trafficking case accused and BJP MP Babubhai Kataria's Personal Assistant Gampa Rajendra Prasad in the city.

Mr Prasad was arrested by the Delhi Crime Branch Police after his name was mentioned by Sundarlal Yadav, owner of a petty shop, during interrogation in New Delhi yesterday.

Earlier, the four-member police team from Delhi conducted searches at Prasad's house and seized some documents.They also questioned his family members.

Speaking to newsmen here, Prasad's brother Laxman said he had no contact with his brother for the last eight years.

Prasad never met his family members since he shifted to New Delhi, Laxman claimed.

Meanwhile, police said in New Delhi that they have seized 12 passports from the house of Babubhai Katara at Dahod today.

The police are going to continue its simultaneous raids in Hyderabad, Delhi, Gujarat and Punjab for two days.

Katara's three bank accounts have also been frozen. The police sources said that they were scrutinising the veracity of Sunderlal Yadav's allegations linking 4 more MPs with the human trafficking scam.

According to them, the MPs may have to be called for interrogation after the process of scrutiny concludes.

Meanwhile, Katara's wife and son continue to be at large.

Sunderlal Yadav who was among the three persons arrested on Saturday night in New Delhi, had told a local court that he had introduced travel agents -- Mahesh Gupta and Rashid -- to TRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao (MP from Karimnagar in Andhra Pradesh), Mohammed Tahir Khan, (BSP MP from Sultanpur in UP), Ramswarup Koli, (BJP MP from Bhayana in Rajasthan) and late parliamentarian Ram Awadh.
