Directions issued to power call centres to be multi-purpose

Jabalpur, April 22 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board (MPSEB) Central Region Power Distribution Company (CRPDC) Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Shukla has issued directions for making power call centres multi-dimensional and multi-purpose to provide better facilities to power consumers.

While inaugurating the power call centre at Govindpura area here yesterday, Mr Shukla said the telephone numbers of the call centre should be given wide publicity. He said he had given suggestions the manager of the call centre in this regard.

Power consumers could also register their complaints through the call centre by mentioning their name and connection number, as every detail pertaining the consumer was already stored in the computer.

He said consumers could also register information regarding metre-reading of their connection at telephone number 12660 of the call centre.

Call centres would remain operational round the clock whole week.
