Cong candidate charged with code violation

Robertsganj, Apr 22 (UNI) A case has been registered today against a Congress candidate for violating model code of conduct in Sonbhadra district.

According to sources, ''Congress candidate and former MLA Parmeshwar Dayal made certain promises to the pilgrims in Vijaygarh Kila on the occasion of 'Urs', which was mere violation of model code of conduct.'' A case has been registered here on the directions of Election Observer, T O Suraj Kumar.

In a similar incident few days ago, a case was registered against SP candidate .
