Booty worth Rs five lakh recovered

Samastipur, Apr 22 (UNI) The joint team of Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Rail police(GRP) today recovered the booty worth Rs five lakh during a raid at Shrirampur Ayodhya village under Pusa police station in the district.

RPF sources said acting on tip off they raided the residences of Ramsewak and Mahesh Ram in the village and found the looted electronic gadgets as well as clothes wort Rs five lakh.

Soni Devi Neetan Kumari and Babita Kumari were arrested in this connection and being interrogated by the police, sources added.

The criminalsd looted the articles by breaking the seal of the break-van in 5212 dn Jannayak express last night on Samastipur-Muzaffarpur rail route under Samastipur division, sources said.
