Yadav's statements are baseless: TRS Chief

Hyderabad, Apr 21 (UNI) The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao today said he had no relationship with one Murthy as stated by Sundarlal Yadav who was arrested in connection with the alleged human trafficking case involving suspended BJP MP Babubhai Katara.

Sunderlal Yadav, a betel shop owner, who was among the three persons arrested last night here, told a local court that he had facilitated a meeting between the TRS Chief with Rashid, a travel agent from Hyderabad with the help of Mr Rao's secretary Murthy.

Speaking to newsmen here, Mr Rao said he never knew Murthy.

''Mr Yadav's statement was completely false and baseless. Such kind of person never met me after getting elected as MP from Karimnagar.'' The TRS Chief said 'he never gave appointments to persons unknown to him.
