Two CPI(Maoist) killed and six nabbed by police

Ranchi, Apr 21 (UNI) Two CPI(Maoist) ultras were killed and six others arrested from Jharkhand's Giridih district today.

District Suprintendent of Police Arun Singh told UNI that security forces were sent to the Chandli village under Muffassil police station after receiving information about the members of proscribed outfit.

'' Ultras opened fire at the forces, two were killed in retailiation and six others, including two women, were nabbed by the security forces,'' Mr Singh said.

Police also recovered a revolver, four country-made weapon, 30 cartridges and a sum of Rs 33,000 in cash.
