Three killed, six injured in road mishap

Fatehgarh Sahib, Apr 21 (UNI) Three 'Shani sevaks' were killed on the spot and six others injured in a road accident at village Ambaymajra in this district today.

According to the information, seven persons took a lift in a jeep near Gagan Chowk, Rajpura this evening but their vehicle collided with an unidentified truck at village Ambaymajra soon after.

The injured were taken to Civil Hospital, Mandi Gobindgarh from where Darshan Singh, who was in critical condition, was referred to another hospital.

The driver of the jeep, who had apparently dozed off leading to the accident, managed to escape. A case had been registered against him and investigations are on police said.
