Stag attacks Zoo labourer

Tirupati, Apr 21 (UNI) A worker at Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park (SVZP) was seriously injured when a stag attacked him when he was feeding grass to it last evening.

SVZP sources said Chirala Reddy (30), a contract labourer for the the last 16 years, was feeding grass to the stags, when suddenly one of them attacked him with its horns. He was injured in his stomach.

He was admitted to Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences. His condition was stated to be critical, hospital sources said.
