Naxal killed in encounter in AP

Warangal, Apr 21 (UNI) A naxal belonging to Janashakthi party was killed in an encounter near Kataram forest area in this district of Andhra Pradesh today.

Police said the extremist opened fire on the special party police combing the forest area. Police returned the fire killing the naxal on the spot.

The slain naxal was indentified as the Janashakthi Aturu Nagaram area committee secretary Sudharshan.

One two-wheeler and a weapon were recovered from the encounter spot.
