MMA leader Rehman's house damaged in attack

Islamabad, Apr 21: Islamic amalgam Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman's house in Dera Ismail Khan was badly damaged when unidentified miscreants fired a rocket at it, reports today said.

However, no casualties were reported in the attack while Maulana Fazlur, who heads the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), was not at home at that time, 'Daily Times' reported, citing a private TV channel.

The channel said that the rocket damaged the upper portion of the house, and quoted the JUI-F chief as saying that his family was safe.

A JUI-F leader said his party would launch an agitation against the incident.
