Man attempts suicide in court complex

Rajkot, Apr 21 (UNI) A 45-year-old man attempted to end his life by allegedly consuming poison in a court complex here this afternoon.

Batukbhai alias Yusufbhai Rajabali Khirani allegedly consumed poison in the court complex over the alleged harassment by the police, police said.

He was immediately taken to the civil hospital, where his condition was stated to be serious.

Few days ago, he had pleaded to the court to get him justice from police harassment and had threatened that if he did not get the justice, he would end his life in the court premises, police added.
