LBF Publications to release 143 books for primary classes

Indore, Apr 21 (UNI) With the proposed launch of 143 books of different subjects tomorrow for primary classes, city-based Learn By Fun (LBF) Publications Pvt Ltd is set to enter the segment in a major way.

LBF is also planning to publish middle school-level books in the next session, a release said.

The Agrawal Group company has already published one crore books and has been sending them to distributors countrywide. Guinness Book of World Records officials have been informed about the event that would perhaps be a record. Juna Akhara Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri would release the books.

The introduction of an unique basic education system would also help develop practical knowledge and fluency in English and Hindi.

''These books are the result of five years' research and our team's practical experience,'' said Group Chairman Purushottam Agrawal.

Claiming that it was not just business for any publications group, he added that books introduced in the Group's Chameli Devi School and Agrawal Public School turned into a countrywide campaign due to motivation by Swami Giri.

''I am irritated by the emphasis on theoretical knowledge in the existing education system that does not develop the practical aspect. Moreover, it has been unable to make students excel in Hindi and English. Students also suffer from Mathematics phobia. However, the LBF's three-year-long experience in the two schools proved an eyeopener and introduction of LBF books brought dramatic results vis-a-vis students' performance,'' Mr Agrawal added.

In LBF books the stress was on simplicity. Besides main subjects English, Hindi and Maths, Toddler Training, General Knowledge, Environmental Science and Drawing were included. The books were prepared such that the content could be easily translated from Hindi to English and vice versa.
