Kunigal records 4 cm rainfal in the State

Bangalore, Apr 21 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Kunigal 4, Somwarpet, Yegati 3 each, Hasan, Ponampet, Bangalore Airport 2 each, Hallimysore, Mysore, Anekal, Koratagere 1 each.

Maximum temperatures fell at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at most places over being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka however they were appreciably below normal at many places over Interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until the Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over South Interior Karnataka at and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of SouthInterior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
