Exam postponed due to suspected question paper leak

Machilipatnam, Apr 21 (UNI) Krishna District Educational Officer(DEO) Vinayak postponed today's 7th standard 'Social Studies' examination to April 26 in Krishna District.

Talking to UNI, he said a leading Telugu daily today published a 'Guessing Paper', which almost tallied with the actual question paper. It created utter confusion among the students and instiled a doubt that the paper was leaked, he said.

Mr Vinayak had ordered a thorough check at the paper storage points in different police stations in the district.

However, the DEO had lodged a complaint and the investigation is on.
